Phone Messages and Telephone Use by Students

The office staff can not be responsible for delivering messages to individual students during the instructional day. Any special messages should be sent via a note to the classroom teacher. In cases of an emergency message, please call the school before 3:00 p.m.

Phone Messages

All classrooms have a phone with an extension number. The ringers on the classroom phones will be turned off during the instructional day and phone calls will go straight to voicemail. Teachers will check their voicemail daily and messages for the classroom teachers will be returned as soon as possible. The office staff can not be responsible for delivering messages to individual students during the instructional day. Any special messages should be sent via a note to the classroom teacher. In cases of an emergency message, please call the school before 3:00 p.m..

Telephone Use by Student

Students may use the telephone in the classroom or office to contact their parent in an emergency. If your child wants to go home with a friend, or have a friend come home with them, arrangements must be made prior to coming to school. The same telephones may not be used for after school plans. Students may have cell phones; however, the phones must be OFF during school hours, including recess.
